Some interesting info for you variant hunters of ML figures.

While out looking for ML5 figures yesterday, I was scanning the pegs keying in on the comics that are packed with the figures (they are supposed to tell you what the fugre is, right?), one caught my eye and I hoped to have found something to add to the collection.

It ended up being a ML4 punisher figure, with the Urban Legends comic in the clamshell. Not the regular Punisher WarZone comic that came with the first run.

FYI for those that collect.....

Are his boots black like the UL figure set Punisher? I've heard some talk about that one being found in seperate clamshells, but the comic difference is new.

The figure was the same as the one that was originally released in the Clamshell with the WarZone comic.

Atleast the 5 that I saw on the pegs. They weren't the figure released with the Urban Legends set.

i saw the punisher and electra like that...it's the same figure as the first release, only these have the different comic

maybe the black booted single Punisher's an error figure? Either that or there's just more variations on our hands.

Possibly - the Punisher figure seems to be the most changed in production run figure in the ML line so far.

I think there were 3 variations prior to the Urban boxed set release.
